TV Series

Started watching Lovesick on Netflix last night. It was originally called Scrotal Recall which, although I chuckled when I first heard it, doesn't really scream quality viewing.

It's really good, though. About a fella who finds out he's got an std so he has to let his ex's know, each episode is a flashback to how he meets them and the zany exploits surrounding it.

Quite funny and only 25 mins per episode.

Finished series 1 & 3 of People Just Do Nothing 9/10 loved it.

Had my eye on Homeland and Sherlock, which is easier to start on?

Sense 8.

Wife was going on about how amazing it was. And reading reviews I settled down really looking forward to it.

I give it a 6/10. The good bits were really good, but there was too much crap in it. I felt like it was labored to sit through to get to the good bits.

Lots of die hards online defending it - one of the creators/writers was the guy who did Babylon 5, and basically took the whole first season setting the plot, so expect it to be slow burning.

Unlike Westworld, where I found the initial episodes to be slow first time around before ramping up, this has interesting bits scattered throughout but the slow stuff is present in every episode.
