It really is fantastic - I always think of it as being one of, if not, THE first of the movie-quality TV shows. Got it in a limited edition tin Blu Ray box set and have probably watched it through a good ten times. Probably due another watch, but I'm just starting up Mad Men again.

The Crown really is excellent. Don't even have to be a fan of the royal family to enjoy it, its so well produced.

Quite right it's amazing. Only negative is Ross from friends being in it early on. Doesn't help that the character he plays is a bit of an a$$ either.

Schwimmer plays the character perfectly (like all the other actors in the programme). I don't see how this is a negative.

Yeah terrific show, just finished watching another french show called Cannabis. Wasn't the best but it had enough about it for me to watch it all.

Sadly (?) I am really enjoying them even though they were, believe it or not, even a bit before my time!
