Question for the general public - the missus and I were watching Narcos through a season and a few episodes, then we just kind of stopped b/c she turns to me and is like, i feel like we've been watching the same episode over and over again. Nothing is happening. I thought about it and she was right.

Any reason for me to go back and continue watching Season 2? Does anything of consequence actually happen? or is it more of the same

The wife and I started watching The Sopranos recently. 3 episodes in, neither of us has any desire to keep watching it. Wouldn't say it was no good or that I disliked it, but if you want to stop watching, just stop.

ya i have started re watching it lately.odd season here and there when i have time.finished the 3rd season couple of weeks ago.not as good as i remember it from first time round but i really like the sopranos nonetheless.

ya think someone was saying on here season 2 is very good.ya didn't like his character at the start but he is after grown on me and kinda glad the way it went with sully.he is a mad yoke the father.ya think it was just the whole crying and feeling sorry for himself stuff with the bunchy lad that was making me dislike him.

It gets better and better and Bunchy is 'explained' as you go...imo Mikey is the real star, him and the writers deserve TV Ocsars or whatever.

ya and i didn't like mickeys character at the start but i have grown to like him now.he is a great character in it.really looking forward to season 2 now.

Watched it through but, although it picked up in the second season, I thought Narcos was pretty average and very sloppy.

Wagner Moura is a very good actor, enjoyed him in Elite Squad, but it's a Brasilian playing a Colombian...and speaking Spanish with a Brasilian accent that he just cannot lose. It's like a Cockney playing Taggart and barely bothering to attempt the accent. I know that doesn't mean much to non-Spanish speakers and it was made for an english speaking market but for me it was a good sign of where the show falls in terms of quality. It was a bit laughable in parts where what he was saying was supposed to be very strong and serious or angry.

Thinking on what you said I think my provider may have run 4 & 5 in together...still wasn't bad.
