TV Series

….another I couldn’t bring myself to watch.

I remember him well at Fleetwood as I worked plenty in Blackpool ant that time and a colleague was a Fleetwood ST holder. What I like about Vardy was he could’ve left as there was decent money on offer for him but he stayed with Fleetwood until they got promoted into the league.

I’ve seen the programme listed on my telly but quickly click past it as I’m not in the least tempted to watch.
It's a shame you will miss a good documentary - I don't particularly like him too - but it proves there are prospects out there - even when told they don't have the physical presence to become a professional footballer a common thing nowadays quote by our DM -
He met a wife who put him straight for him to succeed no mention of her court cases with the Rooney's just showing you how grit & determination made Vardy the class striker he turned into - A compelling documentary you will miss because of a misconception of him maybe off the field of football.....
Not much on ATM :D

…..I know about his career because I followed it closely from his non-league days. Listening to Vardy talk about it doesn’t particularly appeal to me.

A farmer friend of mine was talking about Clarkson’s Farm when the first series came out and he persuaded me to watch it. It’s well worth a watch and he’s done so much to put a different perspective on farming and the farming community .
Clarkson does state he feels sorry for Farmers & admits how privileged he is to participate & shows you how hard it is even for the average farmer works just sometimes to break even working long unsociable hours - nothing but sympathy for them ..
