TV Series

Danger Man is on Rewind TV, starring Patrick McGoohan. Some say it's a the origin of his role in the Prisoner. He has a weird transatlantic accent which he doesn't quite pull off. Still, I'll give it a go.
It was great stuff at the time, not sure if it will stand the test of time though.
Prisoner...and it was all McGoohans idea...was seen as a follow on of sorts.

Ep1 'Dangerman' storms into Boss's office and quits
Back then TV series were mostly 6week, 13 week or 22(?) weeks in length.
iicr, he 'sold' the idea to Lew Grade, who initially had doubts and would only go to 13 weeks, but McGoohan convinced him to go the full 22,
He ran out of steam...alleged nervous exhaustion, mental strain or something similar and managed to carve out an ending of sorts, topping out at 17 episodes.*
People either loved it or hated it...at the time I loved it, it was the 60s

*but the haters weren't helped by ITV showing a couple of episodes out of order, their old pre
-boomer head's couldn't take it

Michael Socha is a really good actor, it`s just that really thick Derby accent that grates.

I`m assuming that he couldn`t do a scouse accent, otherwise he`d be speaking scouse !

Sheridan Smith excels in these working class single mum roles.
Yeah it's not his fault really 😆 I think I will carry on watching it as it is a good premise...will just hope I stay awake and hope no more money gets hidden in a bloomin shoe box...
