Recently finished Penny Dreadful. Was ok.
Next up, Narcos.

Was not a fan of penny dreadful. Me and the other half watched the first series together and i didn't have a clue what the plot was meant to be or what was really going on half the time. Just struck me as very jumbled and almost like a show full of ideas just thrown at the story board but not organised into a proper show.

I'm really liking it too, but the one thing that always annoys me is how the cops never, ever consider any other suspects once they've got their prime suspect, even when there's massive doubts over their likely guilt. I'm sure cops and judges are under pressure to knock off the cases quick smart, but it just bothers me that the pursuit of justice rarely seems to be focus for the police.

As I say, this may actually reflect reality far more than I'd like to believe.

thats a very good point though and it says a lot about the police IF that's what they are like in the real world . A murder case is just stats to a lot police forces and coppers. The more closed cases the better and how they get them I'm not sure a lot of police really care .

Watched the first episode of the Lethal Weapon tv series, yes that is a thing.

Very meh, may be worth another episode or two to see if it is really bad or just ok.

Watched all 8 episodes last weekend, outstanding series. Just a pity it was so short.

Its brilliant seen the lot in a week it was another HBO hit great acting too
