Watched 4 episodes and honestly, never been so bored watching anything. Kept going back, hoping it would get better. But nope.
In my view, a complete waste of 2 solid actors.
Absolute rubbish, and won't be going back for the last 2 episodes.

watched all six episodes of that Outer Reach show last night, it's interesting but know the ending will only disapoint you.

beautifully shot and the soundtrack has more big songs than the Grand Theft Auto radio stations.

Some kind of emotional connect with any of the character's

I just don't buy into the story or care for any of the character's.
They could have done a stunning story on this, especially regarding his mental health and his disassociate personality disorder.
But missed by miles. Not seen episode 5, but I can guess they touch on it, but try to make it funny, in parts to lighten it up, and probably fail and make the funny/silly bit what people remember and talk about.
Give me a show where this guy's mental health is front and centre, and the struggles he has with his disorder is open and honest and talked about. Then I might just care about the character.

Episode 5 is not funny in the slightest. From what you're looking for I actually think you'd like that one.

It is very good, the first couple of episodes sort of set it up and as such jar a little with the later ones; it gets very harrowing. As an aside I thought Schwimmer was marvellous.

What? DS being Ross, or the looking 20 years old?

TBF - you have to be a great actor to be able to lose the previous identity you associate them with, especially from such a long running series. This could be a thread on it's own, who has actually managed to that?

The 20 year old thing, it just feels really dated, despite the fact the story obviouslt dates further back again, I am not sure what it is yet, but for me it is like watching The WestWing or the Sopranos, which were classic programmes with real genius intertwined in the stories and characters, but ultimately now, you can tell they're from two decades ago.

Thanks for the reply, I had heard it has gut wrenching moments. I like him, I just cannot get away from his being Ross.
