Merry Christmas Fred. A balmy 14 degrees .... heavy rain and thunder all evening expected. Worked yesterday and Boxing Day ...so having my Boxing Day today. Three pints in and Port and Stilton to follow. That's the Port and Stilton I didn't manage on Christmas Night cos I was FFIN Kettled lol xxx

The Witcher season 2 is a big improvement on season 1, which felt like it was wholly dedicated to backstory for people who had already read the books or played the games.
Season 2 has more story of its own and I think the development of Ciri is great to watch. She could have slipped so easily into a couple different boring tropes but her growing bond with Geralt sets her apart and honestly I think she's the best character in the show (and a great casting - Freya Allan is a perfect fit).
I'm not a huge fan of some other cast choices; Yen, Fringilla and Triss mostly, but those are small complaints tbh. My only big complaint is that its only 8 episodes long. Need much more!

Just see the first episode of the Book of Boba Fett. It was everything I wanted and more. The set up. The story. The imagery. Everything.
Just fantastic. I know its only a stupid little Sci-fi show based on a set of stupid Sci-fi movies but I absolutely loved it.
I seriously had a moment there when I thought to myself "Am I actually watching Fett break out and escape the Sarlac stomach?!" I had to rewatch that scene over again. I've waited since I was a kid to see that onscreen!
just finished, thought it was fantastic. Was surprised how quick it went, thought it had been on for 10 minutes and the credits started rolling
