Watched the first 2 episodes of The Witcher season 2. They were not good, not good at all

I knew of Jinx and LoL is a MOBA. Thats as far as my interest went with LoL. Tried the series, thought it was ok.....some interesting things going on. Then the last 2 episodes, IMO, were excellent!!

I think it will win a serious amount of awards. The animation itself is beautiful.

They've gone completely off piste from the books. Like the entire Yennefer storyline so far (I'm like 3 episodes in) is pure fan fiction.

The issue I think, is that Yennifer isn't anywhere near an as big of a character in the books as say Jaskier/Dandelion or Ciri, so they are just adding storylines in to justify her as a co-star.

However, I don't think it is all that bad, maybe I'll wait til I've watched them all before making a decision.

The Witcher is pure popcorn tele. Absolute trash with some woeful acting. Looking forward to watching the next season though. Like a guilty pleasure. Would never admit to my mates that I watch it mind.
Its like hollioakes.

Im watching 1 again now before starting 2.

I'm back into this..as well as Wheel of Time...enjoying both of them

This improved over the last couple of episodes.

Rosmund Pike clearly the lead.. the others are of zero interest.

Im a bit lost on Yennifer...they make out shes incredibly beautiful but shes quite 'manly'.

Story in 1st season was decent and well constructed but the build up of some characters and then seeing them 'in the flesh' was disappointing.

It’s a weirdly budget show given it clearly has a big budget. So many of the actors are terrible too.
