Just started season 2 of godfather of harlem first 2 episodes.
Not everybodys cup of tea this.i finished binge watching rescue me with dennis leary had a bit of everything some episodes really gut wrenching and others made me laugh.

OK. Your endorsement of SOA means I'll give it another few episodes which probably means I'll do the first series.
The next four all brilliant Sopranos being the stand out one.

SOA was quite good overall, some very good characters, the acting and the plot wasn't always great, but I enjoyed it enough.

Skip series three as well. First series makes it impossible for any other to match.

Series 1 - unsurpassed.
Series 2 - a bit of a mess, but watchable.
Series 3 - very good, but will always be compared to the masterpiece that is the first.

I think if you just think of them as completely separate programmes it’s better. I watched season 2 recently and it’s still better than most things out there. I’d watch season 3 first mind you.

Im holding off my default option of re doing The Wire as long as I can.
Nothing much else on - saving 'Mare' for later

sopranos was the 1st for me and still the best

Who remembers Brass from the 80s? Top comedy with Timothy West playing Bradley Hardacre. Like a spoof of all the “grim up North” programmes and films

I’m watching all of line of duty. On to season 3, it’s pretty addictive and it’s ok I guess. Has some good bits but have to say, the acting is terrible and the characters are generally pretty wooden and not believable. Why do people keep calling at other peoples’ houses unannounced also? Often with a bottle of wine. Can no one text beforehand?

If there’s another season then it was a perfect set up for what should hopefully be a good resolution.

It seemed to do the whole Breaking Bad thing where after a very underwhelming ending, you start to think maybe the show was never really that good.

Plot aside, the editing in the final episode was awful. It's like they accidentally made the episode an hour and a half long and they realised 20 mins before the show aired.
