Is season 1 a remake of the film? Plan to watch this after the mandalorin (which needs to improve its story telling drastically)
Not at all mate, they’re all stand alone, but keep the same Cohen brothers vein of black humour.
The second series to me is the best one so far and you can watch them out of sequence as they don’t run into each other.
...thought the Alienist was a decent watch on Netflix.
Second one is very good too, possibly better, as the lead roles are spread out between them more.
...yep, watched both series over the last few weeks. Enjoyable.

Starting "A Very Secret Service" tonight I think; looks fairly decent.

Just rewatched a couple of older efforts: Band Of Brothers, and The Pacific.
BOB holds up well, and the sheer number of "I never knew he was in this!" moments were kinda fun. The Pacific still doesn't work for me though - it's not bad by any stretch of the imagination, but it just didn't grip me the way BOB does.
