I can say this. If any British government started doing what Erdogan's has in the UK, the British military would probably do the same.

Rampant corruption. Jailing of the journalists simply for parodying a political leader. Massive subversion of the law.


Its not going to happen mind. Too many institutions in the UK and a 'effective opposition' are designed to ensure good government.

However, all the above negatives - is that is what has been happening in Turkey.
