Whats on your Menu this Festive day ?
This year we are having
Turkey,Beef,Duck & Seafood on a Platter
with Roasties,Veg and salads on the side for the Girls.
Haven,t decided on a Pud just yet(y)
 

Smoked Salmon.

Roast Turkey & all the trimmings.

Christmas pud.

I shall raise a glass to all my friends at three o'clock, then fall asleep during the Bond film as usual.
 

I had Goose for christmas as a kid once. It was ok- once we finished with it we put the carcas on the open fire. After a few minutes we looked out the window and thought how foggy it was. Turned out a goose is so fatty the smoke in the street was from the carcas- I have never seen anything like it in my life!
 

Roast Venison haunch as the star of the show. Ably supported by a multi-bird roast thing that some fancy butcher in Hebden Bridge creates. One of those Chicken in a Duck inside a Turkey type affairs.

I'm on starter duty. King prawns and scallops in a creamy white wine sauce topped with breadcrumbs and parmesan.

Then 297 bottles of wine.
