He is the captain of the Turkish national team and is the current leader in caps (65 - for outfield players) and goals scored (19).

Quality is quality and for a team lacking in depth in comparison to the Big 4, he'd be a solid addition. Plus, he can play as an attacking midfielder or a winger although I am not sure about his pace.

An experienced international player with a variety of roles - if the price is right, we should snap him up.

boro fans are saying he is still away due to international duty.

he is a good player and i don't think he would dilute the quality of the squad.

IMWT~!

Unless we use him as a wide player, a role he is perfectly capable of playing. He's not really a player who'd compete with our main strikers, he occupy's a similar position to both Fellaini and Cahill.

He seems like a player Moyes would go for to me, talented but very hardworking. I wouldn't be surprised if we went in for him.

Would be another good signing if he was cheap. I'm intrigued to know what Moyesy's plans are for next season, how much he'll weigh up getting top quality players versus improving the squad.

yup quality signing if true. think we should move vic on if we get him though.

now looking forward to seeing some decent signings for midfield and right back.

recoup some cash by offering the likes of vic and hibbert to the prem newbies..

Spot on this - versatile, experienced, sounds like the Turkish Pip! Definitely a Moyes type of player. A better option than Vic on the right.

Get him in, offload Vic (which has been on the cards since his tantrum)

He could play RW. I do like him, he was the only player who seemed like he actually cared about Boro staying up. Wouldn't complain if he came here.

However he makes 60K/week so he won't be cheap.

I would prefer a natural right winger than a player who can play there because of his versatility. He would be much more suited for a RM/RW role, if we would have a Baines-like player at RB, since we don't have one (and I don't think we will acquire anyone for this position this summer) I would prefer a classic wide player there - Bentley would be good enough for me.
With Fellaini and Cahill as well as Yak, Jo and Saha, we don't have a room for Tuncay to play in different position than right midfield/wing. So he's kind of luxury player for us...

I agree with you there, I'm not sure Moyes does though. He's never been keen on natural wingers, he's always played central players like Arteta, Osman, Fernandes and Pienaar outwide.

Shadow wide players and overlapping fullbacks so to speak. I could see Tuncay fitting into that mould.

He just seems like a Moyes type signing to me. Hardworking, versatile and talented. And he's a decent size aswell, around 6ft.
