Hey all -

Yank here travelling to Stuttgard for business and I am in the process of organizing a pass through Liverpool (on the way home) for the Birmingham Game. Can anyone suggest where to sit and is anyone interested in tagging along with me?

Thanks,

Mike

Welcome Mike.

It depends what you're after really. If you book early enough to secure a decent seat then I would suggest the Gwladys Street.

For the best view, the upper bullens.

For facilities, the Park End.

Match tickets are currently on general sale A dial a seat service will be operation on 0871 663 1878* pressing option 1 or visit evertonfc.com.

Just say to them, "I dont want to sit by a frigging post or at the back so I cant see.

I suggest Gwladys Street, Rows D to F. Just to the right or left of the goals. NOT IN THE CORNER!

It all depends on what you want to go to the match for.

If your main concern is view I'd personally recommend the Main Stand, I sat there for years & if you can get anywhere near my old seat (Block MS2, Row Z, Seat 95) you'll be able to watch any controversial replays on the small screens in the pressbox (they show them to the media but not to the rest of the crowd in case it causes trouble).

I've moved to the Lower Gwladys Street though because the atmosphere is really poor in the Main Stand, if the entire ground is rocking you might be able to get involved in the odd song but against Birmingham that's extremely unlikely. The Gwladys is the stand that has the best atmosphere, I sit really close to where MikelsGoat said & it's great, best getting a few rows back though because I'm right by the front & so it can be a bit difficult to tell how close to the opposite stand the ball is.

Opposite is the Park End which has the benefit of no posts to obstruct the view but while the odd song starts there, the atmosphere's not even close to the Gwladys so I'd personally avoid sitting there.

The Bullens (opposite to the Main Stand) has a good view as it's on the side & probably has a marginally better atmosphere than the Main Stand but isn’t as good as the Gwladys or Park End. If it was me I'd definately go for the Gwladys for the atmosphere or near where I said in the Main Stand for the view.

If you want, I’ll be happy to meet you & introduce you to a load of blues before the match & then share a few pints with you afterwards. Send me a PM nearer the time & we’ll sort it out if you fancy it. Enjoy your trip.
