Travel thread 3.0

@John BCN @bicycleheader cheers for the info lads. Can't wait to go there.

I've been reading a bit about the vermouth hour. Looking forward to that especially. Where are the best parts of town for that? Is it mainly Gracia and Barceloneta?

Can’t stand vermouth but the missus loves it and says San Antoni is the best barrio for nice Sunday vermouth spots

If you are coming back to Northern Ireland I recommend going to Derry. Plenty to see and do for a couple of days but if you think you need an extra liver for Belfast maybe Derry is not the place for you.
Also, if you dont mind me saying...

Theres a place called Pellon Beach near Derry, its super clean and dreamy, highly recommend... if you can find it..

Landed in Berlin last night, only a 2 night stop over, heading to Bamberg for a soul music gig. Wow, staying out East, superb. In a bar last night, they called last orders around 1am. We got up to go, where you going ? We open again in 5 minutes. Sometime after 4am the emergency exit eventually happened.

Did the East Wall gallery and other stuff today. Super city, moody and cool at the same time. Wish I’d come here years ago.

Did the same again tonight, my head’s gonna hurt in the morning !

Love Berlin. I always find extra drinking energy there that I can't muster in other places

….first holiday of the year next Tuesday, Mrs Eggs and I off to Turkey with our son, his wife and 3 young daughters. Timing is great after they win the league, home for a few weeks then just the two of us off to our regular Cyprus gaff.
My annual Turkey holiday is late September/early October which is a great time to visit and already looking forward to it. Going to Sicily for the first time next week as this years first holiday, a friend has told me lots to see especially Mt Etna.

…it’s more about hotels for us these days, great booze and food and we’re content. Turkey next week, Cyprus in June and Kos in September booked so far.
