Actually try leaving manhattan. I love when people say “I’m going to NYC”, and never actually leave the city.

Just had 12 days in Albania. Great place to discover with options for everyone, from beach resorts to cultural sites and people are so friendly.
Drivers are maniacs though.

The first week there were 8 of us. Never had a bill over100 euros for food and drink. Litre of house red for 10 euro and bottle of local beer 2 euro. Seafront apartment for 32 quid a night

Liverpool airport is that pleasent wouldnt even bother

Its a joy to fly from there compared to manchester

I get free lounge access in some airports through my I.O.D membership that work kindly pays for so hoping to get in to sample the free goods.

Manchester airport is a dive.

Wouldn’t bother really.

Selection of food and drink isn’t that great compared to Manchester.

Oh if it’s free then go for it.

I prefer sitting at the bar in liverpool as it’s never too busy.

In Manchester the lounge is a must.

It's ok. Good selection of free booze but the food is very limited.

Had the misfortune to bump into Mark Lawrenson when I was last in there.

Free ferry to Staten Island. Have breakfast in a proper diner and then back again.
Spend some time in central park just sitting down, hanging out. Have a picnic.
Most museums only ask for a contribution, not entry fee.
Eat in local diners, not pret
Plan an evening/night in Brooklyn - great night vista
