Blue Shadow

Player Valuation: £25k
Starting to think I should go into hibernation when transfer windows open, our best players always linked with other clubs and us linked with crap over paid wasters. The only paper I like reading in the summer is the Echo, it doesn't have to make bull s**t stories up to sell papers (most of the time :))

Just thought I'd break the silence on here, remember that brazilian called Muller or something like that, came waltzing in to Goodison and the transfer broke down (what is it with us and Brazilians! We have no luck with them) that one was a farce.

The whole Benega thing last year, that was just embarressing.They/he made us look like fools.

Apart from that, ignore our comings and goings for now, grab a couple of beers, get comfortable on a cozy recliner and tune in the Greatest Show on the Earth - the collapse of the shower across the park!! The shoite's going to be blowing out of there for so long that they are going to have to close the air-space over Analfield. Enjoy every moment!(y)

Not really. Given that there was no chance he could play for us without a work permit from the home office - the fact Benega declined leaving Valencia is not really embarrassing to us?

He was voted in the La Liga Team of the the Year ... so it shows we were looking at the very best players available.

Is it more embarrassing than paying £20million for a player who only played half a dozen games all season? I don't think it is Babs

A work permit that was by all accounts applied for AND awarded. So yes babs, they made us look like fools.

Just on Benega , ...
Until the dinner hour of Transfer Deadline Day , HE WAS STILL GONNA BE AN EVERTON PLAYER .

As his season turned out , Moyes , as ever , WAS RIGHT . - AGAIN .

Everton did FUK ALL wrong on that 1 . They WANTED him ; THUS HAD to wait an' see .

Vero .

The Banega situation was a strange one, I remember reading an article on him in which it said he knew very little about the deal and had no intention of leaving Valencia. It was a shame, because he would have been a very good player for us.

I still think the club should have had someone lined up though, the deal dragged on for ages. And we struggled because of it, especially with Arteta out. No one could step up and do that job.

IT WAS , however , a SERVERELY restricted Market , lid .

There weren't MANY of THAT sort of player .

ESPECIALLY , on a loan deal .

Fair's , fair an' all that .
