I'm surprised Palacios has not been linked with Everton. Martinez knows him, he is available and his wages wouldn't break us. He can play but seems to have completely lost his way. I thought Martinez might have thought he could get him back on track.

Dimitar Berbatov is still without a club, he might even lessen his wage demands now the window has shut.

ManUre bought him to sit behind Rooney as an unlocker, threw that plan out when they got Ronaldo and opted for speed/counter attacking.
