Transfer Budget

Cal

Player Valuation: £40m
From recent articles on the Echo site, it say's that Moyes will have to work with limited fund's again.

Is this good enough for us?

Don't we want to progress and catch Liverpool up.

I seriously think Kenwright is stopping us progressing by not giving us enough funds.

It's clear that Newcastle, Spurs, Villa, Pompey etc are going to spend big so surely we have to keep away from them?

I think it's going to be a terrible summer if Kenwright can only give us 10 million.

If Sidwell is our main transfer target then it's just [Poor language removed] stupid.

I was hoping we after getting into Europe twice in 2 years would move on and keep him for a squad player and go after the likes of Arshavin, Lucho etc.

Some of you let Kenwright take us for mug's and will roll over and let him give one of our best managers ever breadcrumbs.

We need investment, we need it this summer, otherwise it will end in tears.

Cal you spent too much time on TW mate, take a break from the Kenwright shinannigans and the Wyness rigmarole, just sit back and watch us sign Riquelme, Joaquin, Kilbane, Arshavin an co....

Moyes has done alright with what he's been given so far eh? :)

Whatever he's got I trust him to spend it well. (y)

Never said he hasn't.

I've got 100% backing of the manager.

Whatever he get's :lol::lol:

You really are pro Kenwright and Kirkby aren't you.

Ah well if 5 million is good enough for you.

I don't go on TW mate.

surely you could've slipped tatterdermallion in there too danny, after all kilbane was always a bit of a raggamuffin.:D

Good, he's done a good job so far but he's holding us back without any real investment.

Thing is though Cal, i'd rather that than have a dodgy foreigner borrow to buy us, and then use the club to effectively buy itself (Liverpool & Man Utd).

Or have a man in charge who hasn't got a clue about football (Man City).

I'm happy as things are at the moment, i'd like at least £20m spent this summer though.

I agree but from what the Echo is saying, it seem's like we're going to work on a shoestring budget.

Not good enough for a team that has just finished 5th (on sunday).

Ignore that, it would be daft to say the exact of money we have. If we have enquired for Joaquin, I find it hard to believe we are that skint.

Yes. As I think Kenwright is doing a decent job (check how much we spent last summer), and when/if we go to Kirkby I'll be able to go see the team I love without having bloody pillars in the way.

£5m isn't good enough but I think we both know we'll have more than that. I'm personally rather tired of the whole Kenwright/Kirkby out debate. The fans voted yes. Live with it.

Well Keegan reckons that 50 million squid isnt enough.

Would we be happy with 50 million?

We'd be over the freckin moon.

Haha, I tell you what if we have 50M to spend on new player in the summer, I did say we would be looking at least to finish in the Top 4.
