Either way West Ham would have to stay up, but I wouldn't swap either of those for Burnley. I'm stiting back and watching the chaos without being part of it - it's a good postion to be in compared to recent years. Long may we not be part of that story.Spurs going down would be a massive shock. Forest a surprise.
Make it happen.

I think the journo quote from the attempted esl coup stating that Spurs posturing to be seen as European elite is like Bananaman applying to join the Avengers best sums up their position.Theyre not really a "big" club like the other 5 are they?
Chelsea and City paid their way in, but Spurs were artificially thrown in.
15 years ago, there was a "top 4", followed by Us, Villa & Spurs.
Then the media blew them up as some dynamic side, when they fluked their way to a CL final, and lose World Class Kane, Alli faded and Eriksen aged.
Never got the hype? Big club? Absolutely. Worthy of being considered as part of the "elite"? Absolutely not... I would argue they, Villa & Newcastle form a second tier, a tier Id hope we can catch up into.
But throwing them in as "elite" has left them entitled, as a fanbase. I just dont get it?
Many of us can remember when Everton FC was an unquestioned member of the Big 5 clubs, before Agent Johnson and Blue Bill ran us into the ground.Theyre not really a "big" club like the other 5 are they?

Spurs were also in that group, mainly due to their big London club status. I always thought that their inclusion was tenuous, but like us they were a wealthy club who could attract the better players. I am baffled that they have consistently been regarded as one of the elite with nowhere near the on-field success of their rivals.
It is really dispiriting to see how far we have fallen, when the likes of Newcastle are regarded as having higher status in the modern game.
Surprised at that, really. I thought it would say "Former Everton defender..."![]()
I don't think we will ever be able to compete commercially, there will need to be a more effective and equitable alternative to PSR put in place to give us any chance of competing in the future.Ultimately, time moves.
35 years is a LONG time in football.
Ultimately, Spurs commercial performance puts them in the boat of Newcastle and Villa who cam spend but are also well run.
Spurs, commercially are outstanding, everything else is just overhyped and pointless.
As for us, its simple. Get an effective strategy in place which gets the fans on board and we will easily be on par.
Spurs arent in same bracket as Liverpool etc so its up to us to catch them commercially and on the pitch
I was talking with a Spurs fan tonight, he’s beginning to panic….
