I'd rather we keep Spurs than West Ham. So yesterday was very much a case of small mercies really.

We may have but as usual our wages will be mid table level. That’s the change desperately needed.

We stupidly loaned out a generational defender in Vuskovic - who knows what Frank was thinking.

I think there will be sharpened minds at Spurs this year at boardroom level. I think we will get in a couple of proper footballers, get rid of the wasters, keep Vuskovic and go again.

I’d happily bet we finish top 8 next year

Senesi and Robertson - decent but doesn’t solve our creating and goal scoring issues - which is the bigger issue for me as teams just attacked us knowing we could barely retaliate when all of Kulu, Maddison and Kudus were injured.

It will be the attacking signings that this window is judged on and so far we’ve done nothing

Yeah I’m not putting the boot in just yet, it’s just talk is cheap and so are free signings.

We desperately lack a wide left player, proper back up for Maddison and a midfielder who can control the game. We also have mid table strikers, so if we want to finish higher we need to upgrade.

I would expect any proper rebuild to take 3 summers, but I want to see green shoots this summer so I know we’re trying to build rather than skating along to pick up the PL cheques

Reports of Van Hecke along with Senesi - very promising if true. Would give us Van der Ven, Vuskovic, Van Hecke, Senesi and Danso with Romero and Dragusin presumably being sold.
