Tottenham Hotspur

There was a thing on the BBC sport page - are Spurs too Big to go down, well the comments went ballistic
They got pelters not just from the usual, but from all over...me included
The consensus was they're not really big, it's all London related, if they weren't in london they'd just be another club with a funny name like Preston North End or Sheffield Wednesday.

Anyway, I went back later - Gone...well I couldn't find it.

Maybe they didn't like the truth

It is a weird juxtaposition to be playing European knockout games midweek and then relegation 6 pointers at the weekend - very us.

We probably only need 3 wins, if we can get Kudus and Maddison back and Romero can stop himself from getting sent off the we should be fine.

The Europa league papered over chasms and complacency set in. Xavi is poor in the Prem - he will never have the athleticism to play this league. Muani finally turned up on Sunday - missing all season though. Pahlinha has been steady but has no creativity and Kudus was expected to do everything by himself.

We need Poch, we need a clear out of the shiete and we need to put long term building blocks in place
He is your version of Moyes, he is a comfort blanket for the fans, I'm not sure he is the answer to Spurs problems though.

TBF I think one of the best things that could happen to Spurs is no money or even a transfer ban for a season or two. Like we did under Walsh, you've spent huge sums on players who were not good enough and focusing on a more sensible recruitment policy would benefit things a great deal.

True, but what he did early on the first time round is get rid of the rotters - we’re full of them currently and need Poch to do it again. He also loves working with young players and we’ve got some potentially very good ones who are massively floundering

We did that in 2018, Poch then somehow got us to a CL final and a 4th placed finish.

What we really need to do is get rid of that black hole of despair that is Lange, he couldn’t find his own arse with his hands let alone top player.

We also need to look into the playing surface to determine whether that is playing a part in these injuries

What I fear most is going full Everton, we’re already copying your league form for the last few years - I don’t want us to go 30 years without winning so much as a raffle
To fall as far as us you would have actually risen as high as we had, despite having a strong presence on tik tok and being ed sheerans preferred concert venue that's never really happened.

Please, sure Everton were a force pre WW2 but the only metric you beat us on since then is 4 league titles to 2. We’ve won more trophies, we’ve got a European record most of England could only dream of, we’ve done the double and although our red neighbours have outperformed us it’s not been anywhere close to the same proportions. Since Everton last won a trophy, we’ve been in 8 cup finals, played 7 CL seasons, won 3 trophies and finished ahead of you the majority of the time.

We’re not one of the elites, but we’re certainly around Everton’s level

Of course you are sweetheart, enjoy the Taylor swift gigs and having a regular fan on the overlap. Massive, absolutely massive club

There’s Everton fans approaching 40 that can’t remember ever seeing their side win anything except a few relegation battles - your mad if you think Everton are bigger than Spurs.

We’re more or less both in the same bracket, outside of the 2 elite sides United and Liverpool
