Being in the C/L is so important money wise.
Before Spurs's round against Juve they have already earned €62 million (about £55 million) from TV money, prize money/points earned and winning the group. This hasn't even taken into account the gate money and other income earned from home games (at I guess at an average of 70,000?)
We have paid Wembley around £18 million for the renting of the stadium though, (shows how good of a deal West Ham got by paying only £2.5 million a year.)
