I dont want to go all jarg footy manager or faux euro scout so I'll just say the positions I think new players will be brought in for:
Goalkeeper
Ball playing Centre-back ( I have no doubt Martinez would like to sign for Ashley Williams but we will be usurped by Arsenal so more likely Alcaraz)
Winger
Striker

Nailed it. As much as it sounds weird, this is actually realistic (With the sale of Felli of course). The only one that would be a task to get would be Negredo but if not then maybe Soldado?

With the new tv money coming in could we realistically sign these players without selling Fellaini? Fer would cost around 5mil upfront, Honda similar and negrado around 15-18mil....but maybe 10 upfront ? Total initial outlay......20-25 mil. Wages covered by heitinga-hitz-Neville-Moyes leaving. Probably never gonna happen but I can dream

We can all dream mate. In my own opinion if Felli doesn't leave we will get about 14 million (10 we have from like the winter or so, with the sale of Heitinga). Although Fer's contract is slowly running out we will get him no less than 7 million. I do believe 5 million is plenty enough for Honda though with only 6 months on his contract and already said hes not signing, would be too much of a risk for CSKA not to take the money.
 
With MF and JH going it should give Martinez the guts of 30 million to spend. The extra tv money should look after paying off loans.

1) FER > would give us a bit of strength in midfield with felling going

2)McCarthy> is already very good and will only get better, has a bit of everything about him. If we have a chance of getting him we should otherwise we will watch him flourish at somewhere like spurs and rue the day we missed out.

3)Moses> him and Mirallas would be a massive threat to any team we face. Would provide plenty of ammunition for whatever striker played.

Get a centre half in as cover On loan or freebie. That would leave us with a striker to sort. Someone like BA might be available on loan if mourinho brings in a few superstars.

Preferably with real English pound sterling. It doesn't even have to be much, just real money. It's not a lot to ask.

Don't know whether to laugh or cry that the original poster chose 2 Wigan players in his "top 3" signings.
Surprised i haven't seen this trio from anyone : Donovan, Fernandes, Riquelme.

I'll be the first to admit that my finger is very much not on the pulse of the european footy scene these days. Gone are the days of lounging about on a Sunday morning watching Football Italia hoping amazing players like Rui Costa and Gabriel Battistuta would sign for Everton.
For this reason what I really want is Martinez to buy a player or 2 that I've never heard of, but importantly, who are BOSS AS FCUK. The next Benteke, not the next Afonso Alves please Roberto
