Potter apparently played their academy player Potts over Soucek in preseason for the legs.

I'm not sure about that, he will start during AFCON when Gana is away, but I don't see him starting over Gana & Garner. Competition for places is good though

Soucek and JWP is a bad combo mate, neither are a traditional 6 so I’m not surprised.

I’d say his face doesn’t fit there now with Potter and his preferred style, but Potter is a bad bad manager, so i wouldn’t necessarily take it as a criticism.

Soucek would be ok. He's disciplined and will be tasked with sitting and getting a foot in to win the ball and he has physical presence we dont have in MF now - Armstrong is nowhere near ready IMO.
