Martinez himself said back in January that he liked Ince a lot, and I'm wondering if somethings been arranged for the summer. We obviously couldn't bring him in on loan as our quote was full, so maybe rather than buy him we made it clear to him we'd be in for him on a free in the summer?

I think he's keeping his options open and I believe Everton are one of his options.
