If BMD is as wimpy an atmosphere as the Emirates, you make a decent point, but as maintaining the atmosphere was a major design key for BMD, it is a moot point. I'd say Highbury and Goodison were pretty comparable though, allegiances aside.
That was the original intention but I don't see anything in the (interior) design that distinguishes it from any other modern stadium.
 
Has anyone done the calculation as to how many years it will take for Global Warming to raise the sea levels to swamp the new Stadium??

I’ve just studied some MetOcean data and crunched some numbers, and can confirm it will be on approximately the 17th minute of the opening game of the first season in there. Take wellies.
