Really hope he has a big season, but I've got serious doubts about him. I love his energy and enthusiasm. Last season though he was part of the problem : when he got into those advanced positions all too often he would misplace a pass or make the wrong decision. His end product in terms of goals, assists and chances created has been really poor, and that's going to have to change if he wants to establish himself as a regular starter under Silva. Sure he's still young, but he has to show that he has it in him to keep improving.

Don’t disagree he had some below par performances, but the whole squad couldn’t string 2 passes together. I don’t know what was behind it. The training? Team moral? It just wasn’t clicking at all.

I’m confident TD has a big role to play.

Doesn`t mean the lads can`t be mates though.

Davies seems to have managed to avoid all the temptations and distractions so far. Can`t see DCL being the one to lead him astray tbh.
