OMG DCL, Davies, Vlasic, Lookman should be binned off to league 2 - for free if we have to - and Kenny and Pickford are at best average. Don't get me started on Dowell, he's nothing he should be sold for £4 million and never spoken of again. Our young players are all useless. It's been 12 months since we won a trophy at U23 level, and that PL2 victory must have been a massive fluke.

Koeman said it best last year (after the Sunderland game I think?)

“Our best player on the pitch was an 18 year old. That’s not good enough.” We can’t really expect too much of him this early in his career. He was instrumental in our turnaround last year, and as a result the expectations were a bit high.

The pressure was on him after Rooney and Sigurdsson were signed as he was likely to lose his place. I’m curious to see if he can recover when our next manager comes in.

Really poor when he came on. How Klaassen has been banished from the first team picture after virtually no opportunities when Davies gets chance after chance without impressing is a strange one.

How old is the lad? Playing central midfield in the premier league, playing in an awful side, bereft of anything, played for 3 different managers in one season.

I will reserve my judgment until a little later than just over 12 month in the squad.

But they are not just saying he was poor, they are saying he is “crap” and writing him off, which is the point I am debating with them.
