Don’t want either near the first team at the moment. Both were shocking today

Well you can say that about every single player bar maybe a few, but lets pick on the kids. In a perfect world these lads could bed in gently but we are determined to scar them for life at EFC.

Not a good season for him. His recent performances dont merit a start. His touch is woeful. Poor passing. Not for a lack of effort tho and sometimes i think he tries too hard but i think there is a good player in there. Does he fit into a balanced team for us with current players?

He isn't a creative player so I'd play him off the bench when or if we ever have a result to hold onto and protect. He's always there for a pass and he harries opponents.

He's a Jack of all Trades and master of none. I think he needs to find some specialty to his game otherwise he's going to drift out the reckoning in any halfway decent Everton team.

Right now it's very difficult to see how he continues to get game time. There needs to be a huge change in his form.

I remember Rooney not being at his best in his second season but this is different with Davies. He looks incapable of passing a ball at times which isn't something you want to be saying about your ball playing central midfielder.

His value ;last season was that he allowed Barkley to get further up the pitch. He should not be taxed with creative work. Maybe he can become a player who sits ahead of the back four a la Carsley and screens them. Something more useful like that would be his best bet.

Well said. Completely agree. There’s a player in there somewhere though. Just have to figure out what type of player he can be.
