I think he struggled a bit with the pace. He likes to have a second touch and got caught once. Didn't disrupt play as well as Gana or even Schneiderlin when he came on.

That being said, there were a couple of moments when he got on the ball and kept us moving quite well. Kept his position in front of the back 4 ok. It was underwhelming, but nowhere near the disaster people are making out.

Shouldn't be starting. Midfield two of Gana and Rooney would be fine with Sig in front of those 2. We're playing newcastle next, ideal game to play Sandro, Mirallas or Lookman on the left.

Best he played was when we came from behind vs Brighton, off the bench. Sit him there and use him for that.

He came in last year and was brilliant in a settled side that was doing well. Like a lot of our youngsters he's a good prospect but I do think there's far too much being expected of them.

I don't think any are ready for a regular slot in the side yet we're finding them in there every week, which probably shows how bad the senior players have been.

Might see him on the bench on Wednesday, he did get fouled really early on, not sure if he was hurt? But either way wasnt his best game

I believe he will bean excellent player for us, but like all the kids he is raw and will make mistakes. Overall I am happy with his permanent.

He's having a learning season IMO, burst on the scene last year and now is finding out how hard the week in week out slog in this league is, at 19 was always gonna be a big chance that would happen - second season syndrome and all that.

Got a very good future ahead of him and this season will be a big one in 'toughening' him up

He is not as bad as some suggest.

The biggest problem seems to be his development has stall and stagnant.

I don’t see any learning curve from last season and he really need to find ways to improve his game. Offer something different and improve his composure.

He's 19 years old, playing in central midfield and for the most part this season in a team whose senior players have gone hiding, second season is also one where a lot of players who have gone on to be very top level ones struggled, because it is a big learning season as everyone now knows your game and looks to stop it etc.

He will benefit hugely from a settled manager and squad

He could do with a spell. Perhaps Rooney could slot into centre-mid, where he's been more effective recently anyway, and Lookman could earn a start in one of the next 2-3 games after his performance in Cyprus.
