The club/Martinez had already offered one, and Koeman felt it right that the offer (made before he was here) should be honoured.

Whether the extension should have been offered is another matter mind.

Let's hope them Chinese clubs see he's played for United and buy him for 40m.

had to laugh the stream I had on the commentator - "strange move taking Barry off for a young novice" - ten minutes later " my this lad is everywhere does not lack confidence does he"lol

my one slight point of hesitation with Davies up to now was that I thought he didn't offer enough with the ball to be considered for a starting place, but he's won me over with his performance today - he was positive and brave with the ball, which was refreshing to see
