Don't think so. He's only 16/17 though, so he must have something about him to get the recognition. I can't recall any other youth player being invited to train with the seniors in the England set-up. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.....
Michael Branch mid 90s, maybe Frannie Jeffers not sure

Before they had played for our first team?

I went to high school with Michael Ball (Holy Family, in Thornton) and as far as I know, the senior management don't normally want to know unless you do a Michael Rickets; they're not usually that interested unless a player does the business in the prem.

Think Branch trained with senior squad before he played for Everton, not 100% sure though.

....some years ago England had a policy to take a highly rated youngster into each senior squad to acclimatise them if ever they made the step up. On one occasion a centre back we had was involved, I can remember him getting off the coach at Wembley with the players for the full international. Unfortunately I can't remember his name. More unfortunately he never made the expected progress and didn't make the grade.

They're not interested now. It's not like he's been called up, just that he was asked to take part in a training session, making up the numbers. The under 17s that he's with are training at St Georges at the same time as the seniors so he was asked to go from one pitch to another to fill a gap. Great for him, and it is likely to mean he's the most highly rated midfielder in his youth side, but it's not because Roy Hodgson is set to hand him a sensational first cap before he's even played a minute in club football.

Peter Clarke?

Just read on. Never mind me.

For those that don't attend youth matches, Tom is a natural athlete type of player, near two footed but predominantly left sided. Takes the free kicks and has had good success. Also exceptionally strong in the tackle and has been labelled the next Peter Reid.

yeah seen him a couple of times and he seems to also has that drive in him that ive never seen in Ledson ( who ive never seen play well )
