Guess the logic is middle trio of Gana-Onana-Doucs is pretty established under Dyche and unless crazy offer comes in for Onana he'll be here in August and probably September + aswell.

Garner also played his part in survival and no reason at all why he can't be in central midfield in games where more passing quality is required to break down the opposition.

So you need someone cheap to be effectively 5th choice CM and that's what Davies is.

Would've preferred Davies to be released but that will be Dyche and the club's thinking on this. Just hope there isn't injuries or Garner being needed for 4-5 games at RWB otherwise he will be getting starts next season.

Of course get some actual decent attackers in and 4-4-2 becomes more of a regular formation next season aswell. Was a disaster when tried at home to Fulham but was the usual formation at Burnley.

What's a lad from West Derby whose managed to play for his local side doing cutting about like Samuel Pepys anyway? I'm all for live and let live and a bit of individuality but you're a centre midfielder get stuck in and stop thinking about Othello
Not quite sure what you mean there.
Tom played a great game V Man City about a million years ago. He was appointed captain by some misguided manager.
That was it. Goodnight Vienna.

This is it really. We need players in the squad that can provide numbers in training, and help us out when when we play Carlisle in the cup and happy to play about 3 times in the premier league

I think I'm losing it , can someone simplify what " playing well " means please, it simply must have changed over the time or something.

In respect of Tom, 'playing well' is as follows.

Comes on, has absolutely no influence on the game at all, and is in fact totally invisible.

But he stays on his feet, runs around a bit, and manages to not mess up big time.

One of the most anodyne midfielders to ever pull on a royal blue jersey.
