Nobody would put a bid in when he was under contract, so I don't think anyone would pay for him now he's on a free.

Rather have Warrington as a back up option next season. I get he's not a top earner, but at a time when our finances are tight, throwing £30-40k a week at someone who has shown he's not good enough is just pure madness and shows we've still not learnt from our catalogue of recruitment mistakes over recent years.

We don't know that to be fair.
We don't know if he is being offered a contract by Everton or if any other club has expressed interest.... we just don't know.

In fact, the absence of any news makes me think there may be discussions going on with the club.
