We’re not, he’s not done a jot to justify a contract extension, it would be a massive waste of wages that could be spent bringing in a striker

I really hope we haven't offered him a new contract. It shows he's not Premier league quality because there's been zero interest from other top flight clubs seeing an opportunity to sign him on a free. Rather have Warrington as a back up option next season. I get he's not a top earner, but at a time when our finances are tight, throwing £30-40k a week at someone who has shown he's not good enough is just pure madness and shows we've still not learnt from our catalogue of recruitment mistakes over recent years.

This is the type of player that has basically took the wage that he has not earned and lived of the City goal (Not his fault if Everton offer silly money) and nearly everyone has wanted rid of for a while, but now it is the time to move forward and not keep players like this just for the sake of keeping him around - any potential offer we may be silly enough to offer him can obviously be turned into another offer before any next deal ended
