Is he leaving though?

Fair play, he’s absolutely pulled a blinder because he’s nearly played 200 games for Everton, and we’re still none the wiser for his best position.

The 'I'm a teapot position'.

Always expected more of Tom Davies but can understand the disdain for him on here.
Still think under the right manager and shown some faith with consecutive starts he will looks decent in another team.
Can’t see a future for him here regardless.
Do think he’s been a bit of a victim of his versatility, certainly when he was younger, which I fear has adversely affected his development.

Just doesn’t do enough mate.

In a side crying out for creativity, leaders and passion he lacks it all.

180 appearances he’ll have made for us in all competitions, and his tally of 7 goals, 7 assists is pitiful.

Nice lad, and I’ve said it throughout Tom Davies topics, but he’s part of what is wrong with Everton… not a leader and pretty much a passenger.

local lad, playing for his local team probably taking home about 30k a week...
Cant knock the lad, i'd shake his hand if i ever met him and say fair play
Seen him in the space of a week driving cars worth 300k (Lamborghini then tesla)

aged 24 and could retire tomorrow.

It not as if he has be filling in anywhere other than midfield.
He’s a tidy player but doesn’t affect games at this level. Could see dropping a division, being a midfield stalwart.

As confused about his environmental responsibilities as he is which opposition player to kick the ball too.

Played so inconsistently over recent years it’s hard to know what level he’s at any more. Is one of those players that you do wonder how he got through the academy system and International youth squads; his main assets aren’t very obvious.

The sort of player Lampard would have bumlicked in pressers if he’d been any good. So probably isn’t. Can’t blame him for having a low skill ceiling. But would have respected him more if he’d forced a move to actually play football one or two years ago. Repeated injuries probably made him value the security of his Everton contract.

Totally fine as the inexpensive 25th member of a midtable squad to soak minutes, start unimportant fixtures and serve as a 'break glass, emergency use only' option against the bottom half. Not what is required in a top 6 push, or a relegation dogfight.
