Thought he played well again today. Like others have said, he's not a starter, but by no means is he a liability. Good squad player who'll always give his all. Would've loved it if he'd scored like

Best midfielder on the pitch today

I like Tom and he was fine today but he wasn't the best not the pitch. Iwobinho, Onana and Gueye were better. He was unlucky with the shot against the post, he had little time to weigh it up and had the talent and balls to try to slot with the outside off his boot.

Maybe, but why don't anyone ask the same question about Gouye, or Iowbi?

I thought that was his best performance in a long tike and certainly didn't let Lampard down with the faith shown in him.

He reminds me of me as a player. Not in talent ways, obvs.

But I was just about good enough to not be crap/stand out as crap, in a decent team, but not good enough to look great in a poor team.

He played okay for me, he was unlucky when he hit the post. He had no time, just had to hit it and hit it well.

Still don’t think he’ll be near the first team when the rest of the midfield is fit

Allan

I doubt we’ll see much of Davies this season.

Personally I’d place him above Doucoure who I think is very overrated.
