I think you're short selling Hibbert, he was a very basic defender. But a good defender.

I totally agree with what you've said about Osman in other posts in this thread, if he was quicker then I'm not sure how long he would've played for Everton for before someone else looked at him.

Thought Tom played as well as he has in long time today could have been my MoM pick. Not convinced he’s going to prosper as the deepest midfielder which he seemed to be today, think he’s better a bit further forward personally. Think he’s at risk of being another example of versatility being detrimental to his long term development.

Genuinely think he was MOTM today.
Only Sheffield United like but he stepped up, won loads of tackles (sometimes incorrectly given as fouls!) and always turned and tried to play forwards.

Negotiation some tough treatment tonight unpunished......in hindsight a midfield foursome of Sig- Decorrie -& Gomez was the way towards in the early part of the game ....

He played well but he hasn’t got the authority of Allan. I always have a nigglehe’s going to turn over possession leading to a goal. But he has improved and hope he can improve.

There was no pressure on him in the first half, Sheffield United seemed to overlook his presence. Not sure he will be so effective against a very energetic Man City team.
