I don't think Tom is a top 6 team starter. If we can get one who is then sell him! If we cant, then keep him, as he's a bit better than he was last season. Just not sure if he can improve much more.

Thought Tom did better last season , and had some really good games. At least he is mobile unlike Siggy and Gomes , and isn't made of glass and can't be arsed like Delph.

Depends what your ambitions are for EFC. Good enough for a club in the lower third of the PL.

Tom is fine. He’s not good enough to be a starter if we are challenging for top 4 but he’s a decent squad player who always gives his all.
He’s also still young and I think he improved significantly last season, no reason he can’t improve again. He gave a few very good forward passing performances and often looked our most progressive midfielder (not hard I know but still).
Finally, he’s also a really good lad who does loads for charity and is actually a blue. He can stay as a squad player over almost all of our midfielders other than the ones signed last summer imo
