Both goals down to this lad unecessary messing about for the corner and free kick given away by him. Should be binned as soon as possible don't care if he's a local lad we deserve better than him. The team deserved more than him tonight as well.
Just about sums it up this. The ONLY way Newcastle could score tonight was from a set piece ....and Tom duly obliged....TWICE.

Should never play for us again.

Tom is still working out what style of play is best for him. Pace isn't the be all and end all for a midfielder look at riqueleme, Barry, pirlo, and in their later years totti and Beckham. I'm not saying Tom is anywhere near these players but they all played to their strengths and excelled.

He's in around the first team for 3 and a half seasons and he still can't work out what type of player he is?! The lad should jack it in in that case.

Tonight should be the end of his Everton career, he couldn't even do literally the easiest job in the world, for a few minutes.

Surprise surprise, Tom getting scapegoated again.

Any other club, the kid is supported, nurtured. As a blue, he should be treasured. He's far far from a bad or incapable Footballer.

Unsurprising to see a young player being inconsistent in a poor team, under his 8th manager in less than 4 years.

Really hope he sticks it out and stays because he'll be an England player and a future Everton captain. Still think top six clubs would consider him if we were looking to move him on.
Would you like to buy some magic beans?

Any manager should (and I'm sure Carlo would) back themselves to defend two set pieces.

Once you've conceded the set piece, get organised and defend as a team. They didn't.

Surprise surprise the edge lord goes against the general consensus like he does in every other thread

What made them players good is because they could manipulate the ball with their feet, so they don't need pace or strength.
Tom Davies cannot do that. He doesnt have any notable attributes.
