There's something about young Tom. Even last season, when things weren't going well for him, he never went hiding.

I think he has the makings of a very good player, I think he should be more box to box than defensive midfield.

Not really, he tries hard but lacks quality. So far we have seen nothing more then what Jimmy Bullard did in the premier league

Why does everyone think a loan will do everyone good. Some players bomb when out on loan and fair better staying at their team and battling it out for a first team place. Maybe just maybe the professionals in charge of the team have looked at our younger players and decided they need to stay at us to be able to progress as a loan will have no effect on their game. Give Davies a proper manager who can coach him and he might actually show what he did in the first season

Surely no coach teaches a player that the ball is a hot potato ? Calmness under pressure, solid technique under pressure, keep a cool head etc, never heard of encouraging this sort of thinking, but I am not a coach.

Really? Gives it away too often for sure. He just needs to come off the bench a bit more often, play behind a better box to box player he can learn a bit from.

Its probably more about keeping the ball moving as oppose to standing on it.
