I can't thank you all enough for your heartfelt thoughts. At home now after suffering a heart attack and having a stent inserted into an artery. Glad to report I believe there is no long term damage (at least none that I know) but I'm on a load of medication, can't drive for a month, maybe have to miss the Derby...

I guess I'm a lucky guy to have no long term damage to heart and lungs after being a 30 a day smoker, lazy, overweight etc..

I've had my escape so I intend to change things from now - better diet, more exercise, no cigs. (well I'm gonna try)
