Keane was an absoloute colossus of a player who was the heartbeat of most of United's success in the 90s and beyond, including putting team before self in getting Utd to the CL final in '99.

Robson doesn't come anywhere near him IMO. Yes he's a bit of a nutter but that's what made him such a great player.

Keane had a better squad to work with though. United were winning things in the early 90's when Robson was captain because the overall squad got better. Man United from 94-2001 were an almost unstoppable behemoth. If not for Arsenal and a souped up Blackburn, they'd have won every league title during that period. Keane was around when the team was at it's zenith so obviously he would have won more trophies than Robson. Robson was there when the blocks were being built and I think he did as good a job as any. He was just a bit too injury prone, which is the only knock I can lay on him really

I didnt know that Bale's daughter has the same set of initials as Villas-Boas:
