No its not, that's why I was rooting heavily for Spurs. 5th and hopefully an FA cup will do more than nicely. Finishing ahead of Arsenal will mean that Mirallas will be able to recruit more Belgians away from the gunners and onto our squad.

I dont understand why people are happy with tottenham win. Only means it will be even harder to hope for 4th place. If we finish 5th place or 6th place doesnt really matter that much.

Of course finishing 5th or 6th matters. One is a guarantee of European football.

And it doesn't matter what the result was today, 4th was never going to happen. If it had been a draw we'd be 3 points (and loads on GD) behind Arsenal, and 7 points behind Spurs. If Arsenal had won we'd be 5 points behind them and 6 points behind Spurs. None of those situations is noticeably more likely to have us finishing 4th.
