Di Matteo wasn't even good, that's what gets on my tits.
Yes they won two trophies with him there, but he did zero work. His record in the league this year was woeful considering the team they have. And by all accounts he wasn't liked at either West Brom or Chelsea.
Full agreement mate but they were livid when Di Matteo was sacked, results matter and they won the FA Cup and Champions League (however undeserved) with him at the helm.
One of my good mates is a massive Chelsea fan and goes on about Mourinho like kopites go on about Benitez, everytime Chelsea have a bad result he posts BRING BACK MOURINHO on his fb. He was furious when di Matteo was sacked, saying stuff like he'd rather be in the 3rd division than put up with this crap.
Funny thing is he's from Luton, so I asked him why he doesn't just support the Hatters then.
Should ask him why the fans are always so quick to jump on the manager rather than the man who employs and sacks them so frequently. Of course the Chelsea 'fans' won't boo Abramovich because they're absolutely bricking it that he'd walk away and go and massage his ego somewhere else.

should've stuck with ancelotti. They're just never going to have a long term manager as it seems you get fired if you go a season without winning the League or the champions league. Saying that, the only reason they've won anything major is because of Roman; it's his club and the fans owe him everything
