Once again so called experts in football think that because the ball hits someones arms it should be a foul.

It wasn't a foul on Duff because the law states it has to be deliberate. And as thats kinda hard to know a players intentions there are guidelines refs use to help decided the likelyhood of it being handball.

In Duffs case while the arm was probably in an "unnatural position" it was unlikely to be there in an effort to block the ball. The ball came over his shoulder and caught his arm on the way down.

Really doesn't seem that there was any intention to play the ball or block the path of the ball with his hand so the right decision was no penalty.
