Chelsea slowing the pace down worked perfectly against Liverpool (having a solid defense helps too), it completely frustrated them and threw them off their fast pace counter game, ended up forcing them to take shots from long range when they'd run out of ideas. In City's hands now but I'm not convinced they'll be strong enough to see it out - today's game is a tough one and then they play us next week.
