Do you not agree that Heynckes team was so much better and entertaining than this?

It is impressive how they pass it and keep it, but it's dull no doubt.

Heynckes was class, but Pep is a different animal all together, look at what he done at Barca, and a very impressive CV.

Cant think of a player outside of England I dislike more than Pepe, if ever a player deserved a serious injury its him.

Pepe gets away with a lot of his cheating, rolling around and general snidery because he is also a complete loon; his assault on Casquero a few years ago shows how evil he is.

No doubts about that, Guardiola is brilliant.

This Bayern team look vulnerable and sterile this year though. Even United could have scored 4/5 over the two legs. I think they're pretty boring personally.

You make it sound like he transformed a team from playing like Stoke to 70's Brazil. That Barcelona team has pretty much always played the same kind of togger. Barcelona togger has been a brand for decades. Pep already had the foundations of this brand when he took over. Pretty much every manager who walks into the managerial position at that club knows they don't really have to even tweak anything.

As Ray Hudson would say ' The table has already been set '

If Bayern or Atletico (from last nights match) could hit a shot on goal from outside the box these scorelines would be a lot different.

FFS everyone trying to pass the ball into the net.

Alonso. Leaving aside the Satanic connections, there's something snidey about him. He comes across as a wrong'un to me.

Kicking some lad when he's on the ground, then grabbing his head from behind and slamming it into the ground, id refer to that more as cowardice than lunacy mate.

If someone done that to him he be still there writhing about on the floor now.
